Libraries and Clubs For Remote Working In The Sutherland Shire
9. Sutherland Shire Libraries
Working from the library is a good option when you need to get some focused work done.
There are 8 libraries in the Sutherland Shire to choose from, all libraries, except Bundeena allow you to hire PC’s, with internet access and access to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.
All libraries, except Bundeena have free wifi and have areas with desks for study/work purposes. At Sutherland, they have a dedicated quiet study room for individual work and study (this is a no-talking area). Some desks are close to power sources so you can keep your laptop charged.

Cronulla library has a cafe attached so you can sit at a table with your coffee and enjoy free wifi.
10. Tradies Gymea and Caringbah
57 Manchester Road, Gymea, 28-30 Banksia Road, Caringbah.
The Tradies have free Wifi and lounges where you can bring along your laptop for a couple of hours and enjoy some food and drink.

Caringbah venue is the most popular for remote working with lots of natural light, power points, and quiet spaces during the week. The café is also open every day with coffee, fresh juices, sweets, and light meals available. The full bistro is open for lunch from Wednesday to Sunday at this stage.
At Gymea, the lower level (the Members Bar) is a popular spot with comfy chairs, peace & quiet, and power points. The Willow Café & Restaurant upstairs is open for 7 days.
11. Cronulla RSL

If you are looking for a spacious and relaxed setting to work from then Cronulla RSL is a great option.
The RSL provides free wifi and there are power outlets in close proximity to some tables.

Areas to work from:
- The Bay Level: open from 10 am Wednesday – Sunday (Bingo takes place on Wednesday until 12 pm).
There are a variety of both table and relaxed setups to accommodate different working requirements, with access to a few power points. There is a café that has a light menu and coffee from 10 am.
- The Sunroom: open from Monday-Sunday from 10 am (An exercise class takes place from Tuesday-Thursday, however, the class is empty by 10:15 Tuesday and Thursday, and 11 am on Wednesday).
This is a large open-plan area that is quieter during the week. - Migaloos: is located next to the bar, which is a common place for workers, being a quiet location during the week.
- The Deck: this is a covered outdoor area suitable for remote working during the week in the warmer months. Please note there is no access to power points on the deck.

12. Audley Dance Hall & Cafe
2 Lady Carrington Drive, Royal National Park
Audley cafe is happy for paying customers to work from the cafe and they have power outlets at some of their tables.

Audley is the perfect place to go for a peaceful setting surrounded by the beautiful National Park. It’s ideal when you need time to switch off and disconnect from the world and work on offline projects.
Please note there is no wifi available and internet access is very limited in the National Park.

Gloria Jeans in Sutherland provides free wifi, and there are a few small tables near the entrance that are ideal for remote working.

The Laneway provide Wifi, power points and toilets to all customers who wish to work whilst they enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat.
